Server Upgrade

For sometime we have been watching the growth of the site and waiting to see how long it would take to out grow it. 

With a busy year planned ahead it was decided that the night of the 3 of Janurary was the night to do the upgrade.

The process took about 2 hours and the site was only down for about 5 minutes.

Our new server quadrouples the processing and memory available to the site as well as opening up more features that will soon be released.

Our old server was a Dell R210 rocking a quad core i5 560 with 4GB DDR3 RAM

Our new server is a HP DL360 Gen 7 rocking 2 hyper threaded Low power quad core Xeons and 16GB DDR3 ECC Ram. Needless to say we have a lot more horse power for when the time comes.
